Great episode. If possible, a great followup episode might include a round table discussion with representatives from Powerfilm, Bioenno, and Genasun to walk through typical solutions for best builds for SOTA, Field Day, and base stations.

The guy George mentioned at around 1:10 in the podcast is Will Prowse. All of his youtube video's are very worthwhile IMHO. He also has a DIY solar forum with a ton of good info and good people on it. I would recommend taking a look if you have an interest in Solar. I also recommended HRBO there as you can see here:
