Listening to the live stream from the QSO Today hamfest. Listening to podcasts at 1.5 speed? I've been doing it at 2x speed for years! When you're listening to a podcast like todays at over 3 hours, NO ONE has that big a lawn!

During the remote opertions and NodeRed conversation, I was constantly reminded of HomeAssistant.io and ESPHome.io. Both of these would be phenomenal items for remotely controlling various aspects of one's shack. If you use the correct version of HomeAssistant.io you can actually install NodeRed into the environment, along with ESPHome and enable all the controls you need. I'm not up there yet for remote control of the shack, but I use it for remote control of Chicken Coop door (power relays) and fans in my home office/shack (power relay). There's a bunch more that can be monitored and controlled using things people have already put together. Thanks for all you do!

I'd love to know which is the "correct" version of HomeAssistant.io I got a home emergeny monitor (Emporia Vue Gen 2) and was really hoping it would integrate with HA Leave a Reply. |
