Three hours and it ended too soon! Great conversation. A pleasure to hear the bag reviews and quick teaser for KX2 vs TX500. Made it almost an hour this time before making a purchase :) Picked up the Cisco 525G2 and look forward to getting connected with Hamshack Hotline. For a mil style bag (sorry George) I like the Tasmanian Tiger. Good advice to stick local though. Thanks for the show!

George described an inverted delta loop antenna constructed with a PVC right-angle connector, 18 inch long PVC supports, and two Packtenna 10 meter masts, and also indicated that a picture of this is available online. I would like to see the picture, specifically to understand how the PVC right-angle connector can be supported, stabilized and ground mounted. Thanks.

Hi Michael. Here is a link to Mike's presentation on the vertical loop antenna. I built one as described on the podcast. My base is a 18" wooden disk from Home Depot, a pipe flange and about 1 foot of water pipe to the Y adapter in PCV.

Another excellent Made in the USA nylon travel pack manufacturer is Tough Traveler.

You missed a good USA based pack manufacturer. Kifaru out of CO makes packs for back country hunters primarily, but they also dabble in military stuff. I use various things from them when doing SOTA depending on if there is an overnight involved.
