A great program for practicing receiving and logging (typing) callsigns in contest format. For beginners select slower speed and only one call in pileup as well as turn off QSB, QRM, LIDS etc.... As you gain proficiency you can increase speeds and distracting options

Since the LotW question came up, you may want to get a rover on the podcast. Possibly a Satellite rover to cover the ISS questions as well. Several active rovers include WY7AA, AD0HJ (my personal hero at 25 grids) or possibly an Amsat Ambassador such as WD9EWK or KK5DO who are both also on the BoD of Amsat.
