Great show! Thanks to all the participants. Do you have a link to the "Morse Tutor" product that was described? Thanks.

I really enjoyed and related to this episode. I got into the ham business 30 years ago when a personal project got out of control, and I am still in business. You covered a lot of important points. It did get a bit long. I only mow about 1.5 acres and it spilled into trimming around the trees, etc. :-)

in reference to the comments on Manuals. I have owned 6 radios. I have benefitted from downloading a copy of the manual from the manufacturer and reading the manuals BEFORE purchasing the product. That in fact is great information to have and so much more accessible than printed manuals from purchase only.

I recently acquired a couple of established amateur radio brands and can relate to your comments on running a business. As we approach our 1-year anniversary I've been required to fill every role from sales and purchasing to production and shipping. I had a good understanding of the products involved before the acquisition, but the brand specifics (assemblies and construction techniques) had to be learned. It’s been a lot of fun, but a lot of work as well as we’ve refined processes, upgraded our shop and navigated supply chain challenges. Web development and marketing updates were required almost immediately, complicating the already steep learning curve. With nearly 50 products across both lines, documentation is indeed one of the most complicated aspects. Not so much the distribution expense, but updating and keeping track of new/old revisions as we learn better ways to illustrate assembly and technical details.
