Do you have a link to the laptop that Doug talked about?

Yes, it is a General dynamics GD8200. Look on Ebay.

Doug mentioned the General Dynamics 8200 rugged laptops. I have bought a similar laptop called a Panasonic CF-53.
I think these both are a great field laptop. Search Ebay for these models. Make sure you pay attention to the condition, features and accessories.
When I shop for them, I usually look for a unit that already has a clean installation of Windows 10 included. I prefer to pay a little more to get one in pretty good shape. These computers are a good deal because they are generally the older 3x4 aspect ratio. When you go up into the 16x9 modern format they get more expensive since they are newer models.

Great Tip from Mike VA3MW on the shock corded 160m antenna as mine has fallen 3 times and will use his idea for sure

Looks like 2m EME is doable with a 150 watts and a couple of Yagis

Use JT mode and be patient. Also use a preamp.
