George Zafiropoulos - KJ6VU - Host and Co-Creator of HRWBGeorge started the Ham Radio Workbench Podcast with Jeremy KF7IJZ in 2016 and is now the main host of the show. Licensed since 1972 George has a wide variety of interests from QRP portable to building repeaters. George is the designer of the Sierra Radio Systems repeater control systems and the PackTenna line of ultra portable antennas. George spends most of his ham radio time building and tinkering in his electronics lab. His favorite event is operating Field Day.

Mark "Smitty" Smith - N6MTSMark , AKA Smitty, has been a ham since high school, getting his Technician license in 1992. He is a computer nerd by day (network and systems engineering, plus some software development), and an
electronics, radio, and audio nerd by night. He has given presentations at DEF CON, BayCon, QSO Today Virtual Ham Expo, and several ham clubs. He likes building radios more than using them. He is currently (late 2021) attempting to fill niches in the Amateur Radio market. |
Vince d'Eon - VE6LK & AI7LKVince was first licensed in 2002 but his love of all things Amateur Radio goes back to 1969 when a family member introduced him to the magic of shortwave radio. Vince enjoys working all modes and he works in as many contests as his time permits. He was the Amateur Radio Lead during one of Canada’s largest natural disasters, the Southern Alberta Floods of 2013, where he led a team of 55 for the initial days of the floods and is very active in Disaster Communications and Public Service events. Vince is a Volunteer Examiner in Canada and the USA and delivered the first remote exam in Canada.
