One of the comments in the podcast talked about how some cheaper USB-C products don’t have the built in logic to communicate/command power needs to a PD charger. Has anyone used trigger boards with a PD device for either charging or even powering a QRP rig?

Hi Jason. We are glad you like the podcast ! Thanks for listening.
I have used them to charge HT's but not QRP radios. Give it a try. Just make sure you can pull enough current. Only challenge is that PD has a fixed set of possible voltages so your radio needs to match one of the voltages.
